CD cover shots

I used this wide shot of Burton Constable Hall as the front cover of the CD because this is where i filmed half of the music video. I need to super impose an image of the singer India into the picture.

I also used this picture within my CD cover, as I thought it was a great tree, and I also filmed some shots of the music video with the tree.

I took photographs of all the statues at Burton Constable, and then i edited them together

to make a montage of shots which will take part as the double page in the booklet.

This picture is featuring in the digipak because, the couple are featured in the music video. I think this picture connotes the whole theme and genre of the music provided on the CD.

Finally with this picture (which i took at college) i just took a casual picture of the sky, and edited it on photoshop to make it look more darker but also warmer as if the sun was setting.

background for lyric video

So i started out by making a circle template, and repeating the process 8 times. I then just placed them together and took a photograph.

This is the photo after photoshopping the picture and putting a turquise colour over the top, to give the girly theme.

lyric video email

 Because I wanted to make a lyric video and didnt have a clue where to start, I decided to email a producer and music video director Dylan Steinberg, who has created the lyric video that inspired me to make one, 'Bully' by Shinedown. Here is the email i sent him...

I was quite surpised when he emailed me back, with quite a lot of advice for me, which will hopefully help, especially with trying to make it look more professional, this was his reply...

lyric video font

This is the font i have used for the verses, because it's girly and happy which represents the Lily Allen song I am using.

This is the font I have used for the chorus, to make it look like the artist herself has written it, which makes it seem more personal.

computer problems

I have had many problems with the college computers with regards to media work, numerous times the laptops have crashed with leaving work unsaved, sometimes the intenet doesnt work which affects my media work especially when trying to go on blogger. The amount of laptops the media department have is also decreasing with them all breaking which is hard when theres at least 60 students using them at one time.

lyric video

I have decided to aside from make the Digipak and magazine advertisement, i am also going to make a lyric video, they are usually made for a new single before the video is uploaded which enables the audience to listen to the new song, and also learn the words.

roles

The couple in the music video, are played by Sophie Boyce and Adie Louth.

I tried to go with the traditional picnic theme, with the blanket, basket and champagne in the park. I chose to do this because i thought it tied well with the lyrics "there were people in the city having lunch in the park, I believe that is called al fresco". Also the fact that the song is about hapiness and having two different sides. But due to the snowy weather I had to change the idea to them having a snowball fight.
